Ok so poor keastyn... she has been sick for the last 7 weeks with a nasty cough, running nose, congestion, and sneezing. So I took her to her primary doctor twice.. got no answers, she kept telling me that it is acid reflux and to prop her up during feeding & to add rice to her
cereal.. ok well I had been doing that for 2 weeks already and it wasn't working so I ended up taking her to urgent care... they put her on medication... it did nothing... so I took her back, they gave her a steroid shot... it did nothing... I took her back again, they did chest x-rays... came back clear... so I ended up switching doctors this past Friday and we finally found out that she has bronchitis, RSV and asthma... because of the fact that she has had a cough for 7 weeks and so her bronchial tub has be swollen for so long, she will have permanent bronchial damage and will have breathing issues for the rest of her life... needless to say I am pretty upset that this has gone on for so long. Anyways, so her new doctor is sending her to a specialist to do more testing... she is on a breathing machine at least 3 times a day and is taking steroids... please keep her in your prayers....

erik had rsv when he was three months old. he was on steroids and a sleep apnea monitor forever. it is so scary when they are so little. but, as vulnerable as they seem... they are also very resilient. erik had to have breathing treatments for a year, but then he totally grew out of it. we will keep her in our prayers.
That's awful! I can't believe those other doctors couldn't find it. We will keep her in our prayers! Good luck~
